Christmas Joy, 2004
Dear Friends,

Another year of excitement, ministry, and blessing is quickly passing. God has been good, and our joy is full!  Thank you for your friendship.  We love and appreciate you.

Joy has echoed inside the walls of our little cabin in the woods of East Kentucky.  Many friends and KMBC students have joined us for times of laughter and refreshment.  The campfire has often burned brightly, welcoming hot dogs, and marshmallows to its warm glow.  Songs, friendship and fun are always on the menu.

John has been busy in ministry this year.  Summer preaching and singing engagements flooded his schedule.  A new assignment in development at KMBC has kept life exciting.  Teaching, preaching and administrative work provide many opportunities to choose to rejoice in His ministry.

Beth is in her 17th year at the Jackson City School library.  She invests her joy in her students, an accountability group of KMBC girls, parenting two teenagers, holiday baking and countless craft and quilt projects.

We rejoiced this Spring when Katie graduated from Mt. Carmel High School as the 3rd generation of Neihofs to complete high school there.  She keeps busy as a college freshman at KMBC, a private piano teacher of 16 students, and singing in the KMBC Voices of Praise traveling group.

.We rejoiced with Nathan when he turned 16 this month.  Last January, we challenged him to read

through the Bible in a year.  He finished in November!  Chores, studies and basketball fill his day

Jesus is our fullness of joy.  He gives the reason for this special season.  Thank you for your friendship and kindness to us!  Keep the Joy of the Lord this Christmas.

With love this Christmas season,

John, Beth, Katie and Nathan
