After a long career in Christian Education as a principal at all levels, I have been a public school principal at the elementary level for the last three years in Marion, IN, and have now moved to an inner-city middle school in Marion as the principal.  The work is challenging, but also very satisfying.  I am married to Janet (Jackson) also of the Class of '77, and we have four sons.   

Joshua, 22, is married and is serving in the Marine Corps in Camp Pendleton, CA.  Josh was in the first wave going into Iraq when the war started.  Since the end of September, he has been on his second tour of duty in Iraq.  Ben, 20, is a junior at Indiana Wesleyan University, studying business.  Caleb, 17, is a senior at Marion High School, and Jacob, 15, is a sophomore there.

Janet is the Director of Records at Indiana Wesleyan

University. She has worked at the University for nine years now, and really enjoys her work with the many students who visit her office each day.

I completed my doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2004, and am currently seeking a superintendent's position in a public school district.  For fun, I enjoy riding my Harley Ultra Classic, on which Janet and I took a 2000 mile trip this summer through New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore (my old home town) and Washington, D.C.  I am always looking for someone to ride with, so if any of you MCHS former students stop by Marion, give me a call!
