Hard to believe it's been ALMOST 30 years since we all walked down the aisle in the chapel for the last time. After graduation, I went to Rock Island, IL and attended BMI for a year, then returned home to Berry, AL. In April of 1981 I married. We just celebrated 26 years of marriage and still live in Berry.

My husband and I both returned to college in our 40's, after we got our children grown. I received a degree in nursing and now work for a hospital in Tuscaloosa, next to the University of Alabama. My husband is a Central Office Tech for the phone company, and also did a one year tour of duty in Iraq. My daughter, Rebecca, is 25 and has a daughter, Lily, who is 17 months old. My son, Patrick is 22, and has a daughter, Grace, who is 20 months old. To those of you who do not have grandchildren yet, you cannot imagine what you have to look forward to. There's nothing in the world like it.

I returned to Mt Carmel for the FSA picnic in August '05. It was good to see those who were there. Unfortunately, except for John & Beth Neihof and Jennifer Jennings, none of my classmates were there. Hopefully I will make it again soon and hopefully see more of you there.
