Mr. Raymond Swauger is undeniably one of the central figures in the early days of the life of the KMHA. His engineering genius in building the high-water bridge, and the high school and college campus facilities is remembered to this day. He earned the love and respect of campus students as their teacher and work supervisor. He was a practical, level-headed man who chose to serve his Lord in a remote part of the country, but his influence lives on today all over the world in the lives of many.
You are invited to participate in the creation of a book being published by the FSA to commemorate the enormous contribution of Mr. Swauger to the ministry of the KMHA. Seldon Short has written biographical information and has collected photographs. He also has received several contributions from FSA members and other KMHA workers; now it’s YOUR turn!
If you have an anecdote, a picture, a memory that you would be willing to share, please send it to Celia Davis at 230 Moore Court, Grayslake, IL 60030, or email it to celiadavis@att.net.
